Condiments, spices, herbs and stocks are used to add flavours and enhance dishes. Either in the process of the food preparation, adding while cooking, as an additional flavour boosting topping or as a side sauce similar to salad dressings for salads or hollandaise sauce for eggs benedict. Stocks provide flavourful tastes to soups, roasts, chicken and many other dishes. Stocks are available as ready-made, stock cubes and in packet to gourmet products.
