Mauviel 1830 is an innovative French company adapting to the progressive world. Originally manufacturing the product range in copper due to excellent heat conductivity, the company has expanded and developed to include a stainless steel, an aluminium collection and a black tin (metallic alloy comprised of iron and carbon) collection.
The name ‘Mauviel 1830’ comes from the designer Ernest Mauviel’s name and the year 1830 when manufacturing commenced in his traditional workshop. The Mauviel 1830 team of over 70 craftsperson’s, handcraft the product range with skills from striking, hammering, stamping, shaped to polishing - no robots are used in the factory.
Mauviel 1830 continues the legacy of providing the same quality across all collections with beautiful craftsmanship, design and style ready chefs around the world.
