Direct water chillers work by chilling the water to a chosen temperature which is either gravity fed or pumped to its output location. With an indirect water chiller the system uses a different design by separating the water from directly contacting with the cooling device, due to the pressure created in this design the system does not require a pump or to be gravity fed as the water is flowing and the pressure created provides enough pressure to discharge the water.
